Here are some other ways you can support and partner with the Curry Senior Center. For more information on any of these opportunities, contact Arlo Bushnell, Associate Director of Development at 415-292-1064 or

Participate in your workplace campaign. Company departments organize their co-workers and pledge donations to nonprofit organizations. If you or your co-workers are thinking of making a workplace or matching contribution, please think of Curry Senior Center.

Donate used household goods. The Community Thrift Store on 623 Valencia St. in San Francisco is now accepting donations on behalf of Curry Senior Center. Bring your old clothes, jewelry, books, sports equipment, furniture, CDs, electronics, or luggage. Tell them you want all sale proceeds to benefit Curry Senior Center.

Host a Daily Essentials Drive at your workplace. Many Curry seniors can’t afford essential toiletry items. Organize a drive at your workplace for items like these: toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, socks, gloves, T-shirts, or rain ponchos.

Sponsor an event. Sponsor one of the many cultural day events at Curry. Every year, Curry Senior Center celebrates Chinese New Year, MLK Day, Pride and many others. Take a look at our calendar listings.
