Programs at The Cadillac
The historic Cadillac Hotel was the first non-profit “Single-Residence Occupancy” (SRO) hotel West of the Mississippi. It provides supportive housing for approximately 160 tenants and is an official San Francisco landmark. Since 1907, the Cadillac Hotel has been known as “The House of Welcome” and it provides numerous programs to residents, Curry Senior Center clients, and Tenderloin community members.

Homebridge provides high-quality in-home care and supportive services for elderly and disabled clients at The Cadillac . The service prides itself on meeting clients where they are at. Homebridge incorporates a strengths-based approach to provide clients with stabilization.

The Tenderloin Housing Clinic’s Food Pantry, hosted by the Pierre Hotel, is one of the most coveted programs in the community. It provides clients with tons of healthy grocery options and a mini farmer’s market – all for free! Each person is invited to bring their own bag and shops for fresh fruits, vegetables, and other healthy items.
The Food Pantry is available at the Pierre Hotel (540 Jones Street) every Wednesday at 2pm.

Aging 360™ is a program provided to Cadillac residents by the At Home With Growing Older Organization. The workshops offer countless ideas, examples, and resources for “age-friendly” improvements to living spaces. Facilitators provide individual, personalized feedback and cultivate a dynamic, peer-learning process. The benefits of these no, or low-cost, adaptations are immediate, participants report feeling safer and more satisfied with daily life.

Once a week the Cadillac teams up with the San Francisco-based organization, Healing WELL , to provide Tenderloin community members with a variety of opportunities and resources. With a holistic approach to caring for Caddilac residents, Healing WELL brings programs intended to heal the spirit, the body, and the mind. This includes mindful meditation, movement, artistic expression, and health diets.
Healing WELL is onsite at the Cadillac every Thursday at 11am.
Rooted in the Zen Buddhist tradition, Zen Caregiving is program offered at the Caddilac that provides residents with exercises in mindful meditation, compassion, isolation reduction, and social connections. In addition, for more vulnerable residents, the Zen Caregiving Project offers hospice and end-of-life care opportunities.
Zen Caregiving is onsite at The Cadillac every Friday from 11am to 3pm
Concerts at the Cadillac is a free concert series open to the public. Since 2007, the purpose is to provide high-quality music for the residents of the Cadillac Hotel and San Francisco’s Tenderloin District. Everyone is welcome. Concerts are dedicated to the power of great music to uplift and inspire.
