Curry’s Peer Programs was mentioned in the San Francisco Chronicle on May 5th! The article is titled “Surgeon general report tackles loneliness”. The article states that “The Curry Senior Center in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood runs a program that connects seniors with peers. It has been found to reduce participants’ feelings of loneliness, depression and barriers to socialization after one year.”[1]
The Peer Program is essential in Curry’s efforts to reduce seniors’ feelings of loneliness and isolation. Congratulations to all of the Curry peers!
