Curry Senior Center is so excited and honored to be a part of this new collaboration with our community partners the Golden State Warriors and Kaiser Permanente!

The Warriors and Kaiser have partnered with local farmers market vendors to launch Thrive City Farmers Market on Wheels, a mobile program aimed to deliver essential grocery items and resources to Bay Area communities in need. Beginning in July, Thrive City Farmers Market on Wheels producers Clara’s Egg Farm, Ground Stew Farms, Jacob’s Farm and Smith Farms will supply fresh produce and healthy grocery items that will be delivered to Curry Senior Center using vehicles provided courtesy of Golden State Warriors and Chase Center partner Mercedes-Benz.

This effort will provide much-needed relief for seniors, many of whom are food insecure and rely on these generous donations to make ends meet. This donation will impact approximately 75 elders and will continue Curry’s efforts to keep the most vulnerable clients safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
