Curry is thrilled to be hosting a pre-screening of the documentary ‘Wired for Connection’, which examines the detrimental effects of social isolation and loneliness on one’s health and the health benefits of social connection. The documentary will air on PBS on June 1st.
Some of Curry’s older adults are in the documentary as well, along with our Board member, Ashwin Kotwal, a professor of medicine and geriatrics at UCSF. The screening is on May 13th at the San Francisco Library’s Koret Auditorium from 1:30 – 4:30. This event is free and open to the public. You can watch a short trailer for the film on YouTube:
